For the mounting arm, how much room is needed for the mounting plate on the face of the slideout? I have a vent near the corner and I need to know if I have room

My contact a Lippert Components confirmed with me that the mounting bracket on the Lippert Solera Slide-Topper Awning, # LCV000163287, measures from the center of the top rivet hole to the bottom of edge 1.050 inches.

The bracket will mount as close to the top trim of the slid out on you trailer, so from the bottom of this trim to the bottom of the mounting bracket will be no more than 1 to 1.5 inches. This will be enough clearance for the slider to mount to the slide out between the trim and the vent.

I recommend double checking the clearance between the bottom of the top trim and the top of the vent. If is wider than 1-1/2, you will have no issues with installing the slide-topper awning.
