Question:
I am building a door i would like to install this on. Is there an online instruction page or dimension chart of this product? I am wondering specifically how far back to make the 2.5x3.5in hole from the edge of the door and what size of pocket i need to make for the deadbolt and catch part to fit through to get to the doorframe. Thanks.

The first thing you should know about Global Link RV Entry Door Locking Latch Kit with Keyed Alike Option - Black Item # 295-000019 is that it fits doors that are 1-1/4" to 1-1/2" thick. It installs into latch cutouts that are 2-1/2" wide x 3-1/2" tall to 3" wide x 4" tall.
The dead bolt part of the lock extends 2 inches from the center of the nearest mounting hole or 1-1/2 inches from the plastic body of the latch. The mechanism is 3/4 inches thick. I have included a picture showing this for you.

To mount such a door latch, you need the distance from the door frame edge to the cutout, not to any part of the latch. If the hole in the door is 2.5 x 3.5, how far from the edge of the door does the cutout go? This is needed so the faceplate (part that goes on the skinny part of the door) can mate to the lock (that goes in the 2.5 x 3.5 cutout).
