The intended purpose of the Camco RV Power Defender Voltage Monitor # CAM55301 is to protect your entire 30-amp RV electrical system from over- or under-voltage conditions in the power source it is connected to. it automatically disconnects when dangerous voltage levels are detected and automatically reconnects when voltage levels stabilize to a safe level (between 102V and 132V). This is different than a GFI outlet as one might find in an RV or household bathroom.
