Yes, the Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar for Motor Homes, # RM-1139-146 will work on your 2017 Hurricane 31S with the 2016 Ford F53 Chassis with either a V8 or a V10. The anti-sway bar will use the weight of the axle as a brace against the chassis so that pressure to one side of the motor home is countered by the sway bar. It minimizes the side-to-side movement that cargo shift, wind or passing trucks can cause.

On some applications longer u-bolts are required to install this kit. For square-end u-bolts, order kit # RM-590050-00 and for round-end u-bolts use kit # RM-590050-10.

We also offer a a Front Anti-Sway Bar # RM-1139-148, which can be used in conjunction with the rear anti-sway bar for increased stability.

Thank you so much for reaching out again. There are several ways that your ride can be improved with suspension enhancement and/or sway control. If your primary concern is with sway in the rear of your motorhome from passing vehicles, you should definitely go with the rear anti-sway bar, # RM-1139-146. If you travel in the mountains very often and experience a lot of sway from passing motorists, you should also go ahead and invest in the front sway bar # RM-1139-148. Suspension enhancement kits like the Sumo Springs Maxim # SSR-187-54-1, will help a little with sway, but will primarily help to absorb bumps and shocks and will keep your vehicle level for improved driver control and comfort. A steering stabilizer like # RM-RBK22-RSSA reduces driver fatigue and helps you maintain control of your motorhome in crosswinds, rut tracking or other hazards. I believe you will get the most 'bang for your buck' with the rear anti-sway bar. I recommend starting with that purchase and then, if your ride is not sufficiently improved, you can always add additional components.
