Base Plate Kit Recommendation for 2014 Jeep Wrangler 4 dr. Unlimited

Thanks for getting back to me . Question , the receivers are now going to be round push in instead of square receivers I have on my 2008? Also I still will use my cross bar and attach the new plates to it? Will my cross bar fit the new brackets? Thanks

If you have a base plate kit set up on your 2008 Jeep Wrangler you most likely have a flat towing setup already and just need a new base plate kit for the 2014 Wrangler Unlimited.

For that you would need the part # RM-521448-4 which is a confirmed fit.

The shape of the shank portion of the removable arms of the # RM-521448-4 will be round. The exact shape varies from each base plate kit so it's hard to say exactly the shape but it will fit the base plate kit so it will work well. The crossbar of your current tow bar will work well with this kit too. I attached a second picture that has shows the kit with a crossbar attached to it.
