Question:
Would the Firestone Ride-Rite work with a 4.5 in lift and a Pop up flip over gooseneck hitch model 229 installed on my 2006 Ram 2500 MegaCab? If so what part numbers would I need?

Expert Reply:
Yes, the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F2299 is a confirmed fit for your 2006 Dodge Ram and will work with all in-bed hitch options including your RV Popup-Youngs Flipover Gooseneck Hitch 229. In order to make this Ride-Rite airbags compatible with the vehicle's 4.5" lift, you will also want to use the Lift Spacers for Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F2373.
These airbags are designed to maximize safe load-carrying capacity, increase stability and improve ride quality. To operate the airbags from inside the vehicle you will need a compressor kit such as the Firestone Air Command I part # F2158 which comes with a standard-duty compressor, manual adjustment valve, and single gauge control panel.
I have attached a review, test course, and installation video of these airbags for you.
