Question:
Looking for a spare tire carrier for a Jayco 25foot travel trailer with a 4x 4inch camper bumper. It needs to set high enough for access to a 2x 2inch bike rack receiver mounted below the 4x4 bumper/carrier. The Strom Carlison looks like the tire will hang below the mount/bumper. Thanks, Hope you can help!!

Expert Reply:
For your spare tire carrier, I recommend the Folding Bumper Mounted Tire Carrier - U-Bolt Mount # TR-2. This is compatible with 4x4 inch bumpers and fits most 5, 6, and 8 lug wheels. I've attached a video for you to see how this fits on a similar trailer bumper. This will be your best option for a bumper mounted carrier. If you want a hitch mounted carrier that will still allow for a bike rack, I recommend the Roadmaster Hitch Mounted Spare Tire Carrier w/ 2" Receiver Opening - 2" Hitches # RM-195225 which is normally for much larger tires, but will work great as well.
