Question:

Part# TX1118185/replacement roll up fastener. The fastener I have on my cover has rotted out with the sun and weather. How is this replacement attached to the truck/cover. Thank You.

I've attached the installation instructions for the TruXedo Lo Pro QT Soft Roll-Up Tonneau Cover, # TX579601, which has a very detailed diagram of how and where to install replacement parts. For your convenience, I made an enlarged copy of the diagram for the safety strap, # TX1118185. To install the strap, you will have to remove the spring-loaded header guide at the front ot the truck bed where the tonneau cover is secured. You will remove the endcap, slide out the header guide and the old strap. Then you will slide in the new strap and the header guide and re-insert the end cap.

I would also recommend that you check your weather seal for the side rails to see if it needs to be replaced. We sell it by the foot, so if you have an 8' bed you'll want to order qty.16, # TX1114731.
