Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna take a brief look at these TruXedo Replacement Safety Straps. Now, this is going to replace both safety straps for your Lo Pro or Deuce 2 soft, roll-up tonneau covers. And as you no doubt know, these straps are going to hold your tonneau in place behind your cab when it is rolled up, giving you full access to your truck bed. Now, let me go ahead and lay this down here real quick and get my ruler. I just wanna confirm the overall length here.
So lining that up for you, as you can see, each strap is sitting right at 12 inches long. And instructions do come with these straps to walk you through the installation process. And these straps are directly from TruXedo, so you can trust that they're going to fit right in place of the originals. You're not gonna have to worry about compatibility issues or anything like that. So if you're needing to replace two safety straps for your Lo Pro or Deuce 2 soft, roll-up tonneau covers, this is going to be exactly what you need.

Easy replacement. The instruction page included provides additional clarity. The etrailer videos include a ruler with the part to show length. My biggest challenge was choosing which of the 2 different available straps fit my application which was a 6.5 ft Ram bed. One option is 1" longer than the other and the original straps has lost elasticity and were clearly longer than they once were. They fit well. What would make it easier is a chart that specifically states which strap goes with specific truxedo cover lengths.
Dude you sold such a small (short) strap to hold down my roll up truck bed cover it barely fits. Been struggling ever since.
Been dealing with it but if you want to know you could have made it 2” longer.

These Straps are smaller than the originals. I purchased 2 when I replaced the cover because they were worn out and would no longer stretch. The new ones won't go around the cover stretched completely out. Not Usable.

The same as a year ago. Still to short. Its very difficult to get the strap around the rolled up leprosy. When you manage to do it, it is stretched to its maximum. The straps are elastic but only stretch so far and are hard to deal with diwn in behind the rolled up cover. Fortunately I dont have to use the straps all that often. A lot of trouble to go through so so the manufacturer can save 1-2 inches of nylon strap.

Still working perfectly
The parts I order work perfectly in restoring my tonneau cover.
The clips become brittle and break off after a couple of years so you'll eventually need these replacement straps for your Truxedo roll-up cover. Easy to install, just be careful to retain the small clips and install them back in the correct direction.
Truxedo makes the best soft bed cover on the market. I can put dirt bikes right up to the end of the bed without running into the rolled up cover. Durable and has lasted for years.
These straps were perfect replacements to my 13 year old, weathered, and broken straps. I'm very happy with them. Thanks!
Perfect fit! Very easy installation with then included instructions. Ten minutes tops for the whole job and five of that was finding where the kids left my ratchet. Thanks for a great product.
Exactly the same as TruXedo branded parts, but a lot cheaper.

Been one year and the straps still look and perform like new.
Replacement safety straps, came quick through usps...they had directions and were easy to install, took 15 minutes, that's taking your time...Thank you e-trailer....Dale
No reflection on etrailer, but the think the straps are far overly priced for the lack of quality in the strap material!

I hate hearing that the straps that you received did not work for you. They should be 12 inches long and would fit with the TruXedo Lo Pro or TruXedo Deuce 2 soft, roll-up tonneau covers. How long were the straps that you received? Which tonneau cover do you have?
