Question:
What is offset?

Expert Reply:
The wheel in Loadstar ST185/80D13 Bias Trailer Tire w/13" White Modular Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - Load Range D
Item # AM3S333 has a zero offset. The mounting surface of the wheel is centered with the tire. This zero offset is by far the most common for trailers.
If a trailer tire has an offset, that means the mounting surface is not centered. A positive offset would put the wheel farther underneath the trailer like # AM20783, and a negative offset would put the tire slightly farther out from the trailer frame like # AM22704.
