1999 Shorelandr Actuator Replacement Recommendation
Updated 08/08/2017 | Published 08/07/2017 >
Question:
I recently purchased a boat that came with a 1999 Shorelandr SSR2346T trailer. The brakes do not work at all and it is hauling a heavy boat! Not a great combo. I still need to do more troubleshooting to determine the root cause but the actuator needs to be replaced regardless. The piece that grabs the ball is very worn and it makes hooking it up quite difficult. Either way, I want to replace it but want to make sure I pick the correct part. The Shorelandr part picker website gives me part number 4510280G but I cannot seem to find any information with that number. This one LOOKS like the same part since it is black. AT83005 But this also looks like a good candidate as well: 84132 Any help would be fantastic!

Thanks for the picture of your trailer. What you have now is an Atwood actuator. Since we no longer carry that actuator best solution would be a # DM72VR since it's very similar and actually a bit more reliable than the Atwood couplers.
