Question:

Hello, I have a question if the Thule AeroBlade roof rack system Part Numbers: THARB53,TH480R,THKIT1818would work on the 2015 Hyundai sonata limited. This vehicle has panoramic sunroof on it. I saw this kit is compatible with the 2016 version of the car and know that 2015 was the first year of the redesign. Also will the sunroof be able to be used with this kit installed on the vehicle if it is compatible with the 2015 sonata. Thank You.

For your 2016 Hyundai Sonata with the panoramic sunroof the Thule Aeroblade roof rack part numbers # TH711420, # TH480R, and # THKIT1818 is a confirmed fit and will work well. We confirmed this with Thule.

Thule states that you can't open the roof with the rack installed though. Even if you could the crossbars would create enough wind noise that you would want to immediately close the roof.
