Question:
I have a 2015 Silverado diesel and want to use Rock Tamers, but im worried about the exhaust. The angled tip will not work as final exhaust pipe is 5 inch diameter. This is the newer style exhaust that adds air to the end of exhaust pipe. Will the air help cool exhaust enough or will a heat shield like Rock Star brand work?

The Heavy Duty Rock Tamers are not a vehicle specific design, meaning neither we nor rock tamers test fit the products on particular vehicles. The fitment is based off of the hitch size. You will want to use part # ERT00108 for 2" hitches and part # ERT00110 for 2-1/2" hitch receivers.
If you do find the the exhaust tip and gasses are too close for comfort to your mud flaps, you can use Heat Shield for Access Rockstar Mud Flaps part # A80807.
