Is It Recommended to Have Leveling Blocks for Each Wheel on a Dual Wheel RV
Updated 07/12/2017 | Published 07/11/2017 >
Question:
Is it ok to place leveling blocks, centered between dual wheels on the rear of an RV provided they cover approximately 60 of the width of each tire? Ive read that its not good practice to have an inner tire left up in the air.

If you are parking your RV for a short period of time, say for just a day or two, you should be okay. Anything longer than that and you will need to have leveling blocks for each tire/wheel.
Ultimately you want your RV to be safe and stable when you have it parked. It is definitely more stable to have leveling blocks for each tire/wheel rather than trying to make sure that you get one leveling block just right for both.
I have attached our selection of leveling block for you to look through should you need more leveling blocks. The Hopkins Leveling Kit # HM08200 is nice because it not only provides you with leveling blocks, but it also acts as wheel chocks for added safety.
