Question:

I'm looking at purchasing the: Topline 2 Bike Carrier Truck Bed Mounted Expandable Bike Rack Item # UG2500 My concern is that I have retractable cover that opens and closes over the bed of my Toyota Tundra. It runs on a track over the rim of the bed. I'm worried the clamp won't work. If you email me I can send a picture for you to see.

The retractable cover over the bed of your 2003 Toyota Tundra means the Topline UG2500 isn't going to work, though you do have some options.

The Thule Insta-Gater Pro # TH93VR is held in place at the tailgate opening and does not require drilling or the removal of your bike's wheel. This is a one-bike rack, though another will fit next to it if you need to accommodate more than one bike. You have the option of using the Thule One-Key Lock Cylinders # TH450200 to secure the bikes to the carrier.

You can also go with the Softride Shuttle Pad Tailgate Bike Carrier # SR26457. This is a pad which you put over your tailgate and and secures with attached tie-down straps. The front wheel of your bike would go over the tailgate and be secured by wraps that are on the top of the pad.
