Question:

Hello, I have a 2012 Toyota Tundra Double cab. I have the stock regular 4 pin trailer light connector at my rear bumper. I would like to install the Putco P92009-60 LED Tail light bar on my truck but not sure about the proper wiring for the install...Questions: 1- I understand that this light comes with a 4 pin connector, do I just tap into the rear of my 4 pin on my bumper? 2- Do I still need to tap into the tail light for the reverse light to work or will the 4 pin connector handle all that? The Putco Blade Universal LED Tailgate Light Bar # P92009-60 does plug into your 4-way trailer connector on your 2017 Tundra. That will take care of the stop, tail, and turn signals for the light bar.

To get the backup lights working you will need to attach the White wire to the reverse light circuit on your Tundra. You can use the quick-disconnects like part # DW01899-1 and part # DW01896-1 for the reverse light wire.

For 16 gauge wire you can use part # DW02359-1. This is sold by the foot.
