Installation of Thule Peloton TH517 Roof Bike Carrier Using Adapter Kit THXADAPT9

Question:
I have a pair of Thule Peloton 517 bike racks that wont fit my newer aero bars. I have been recommended the XADAPT9 kit but I dont see how it will change the front mounting style. Am I missing something or will it not work? Thanks.

The Thule # THXADAPT9 kit allows your Peloton TH517 and other Thule roof bike carriers to mount in the top channels in their Rapid Aero and Xsporter crossbars. You can refer to the linked video to see how this kit is installed.
