Question:
It appears I can use either the Ultra-Fab Deluxe Electric Landing Gear Set, part # UF17-943010 or the Bulldog Electric 5th Wheel Landing Gear Set, part # BD500161 as complete replacement jacks on my 1995 Alpenlite 5th wheel with Atwood landing gear. Which in you opinion is the better choice.

Expert Reply:
Between the Ultra-Fab Deluxe Electric Landing Gear Set # UF17-943010 and the Reese Electric 5th Wheel Landing Gear Set # RP500708 I would go for the Reese. The Reese system offers faster travel (9-inches per minute compared to 4) and also a longer 5-year warranty.
