Question:

I need a replacement lock core for a Sears X-Cargo Sport 20SV rooftop box. I dont know the age of the box or if the lock core is replaceable. I understand these were made by Thule, and the Thule lock cores can potentially work with these cargo boxes. If I have a locksmith remove the existing lock core, is there a Thule lock core that will work as a replacement?

I believe the replacement locks on your X-Cargo roof box are the same as the locks on the SportRack Explorer Cargo Box, 90095. The replacement lock set is # SR03807. If this does not look like the locks you have, send me a picture and I can determine if we have something that will fit.

Thule did make those boxes, so depending on the year, they may have used the One-Key system lock cylinders like # TH450200. If that is the case, you can use the master key to remove your current lock cylinders as long as they are unlocked and just insert the new cylinder.
