I was thinking on purchasing this coupler, but was wondering what the proceedure is for backing up with this unit? Thx,

The Demco Actuator, # DM8509602, does not have a reverse lockout feature so you would need hydraulic free-baking drum brakes on the trailer in order to back up without actuating the brakes. I have included a link to all of the free-backing brakes for you to view.
