Recently purchased a Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector Item # C55528. 2005 Hyundai Tucson The turn signals are intermittent. I have replaced the connector on the trailer to no avail. Any ideas? I think it may be the controller.

It is possible that a controller like the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C55528 has gone bad. To test it, I recommend using a circuit tester like # PTW2993 to see the function at your 4-way when the trailer is not connected. This will help you determine if it is vehicle wiring or trailer wiring causing the issue.

If the issue is with the vehicle side, you will need to replace the unit. If the 4-way is good on your vehicle test, then I recommend you check the ground on your trailer. Often times the issue with a trailer is a ground that isn't perfect. You want to make sure it is free of all rust and corrosion and has a bare metal to metal contact.
