Installation Of The Rear Jack On The Lippert RV Leveling System Part # LC358590

Question:
It seems like at the exact 20 ft. Measurement on my Raptor 297s toyhauler is within the rear step assembly. Cannot be mounted on the outside of the I Beam. Not enough space between the beam and step assembly. Can it be mounted on the inside rather than outside of the beam?

The recommended placement of the rear jacks on the Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Electric 5th Wheel RV Leveling System part # LC358590 is 1 foot behind the rear tires, parallel with one another. If there is insufficient space on the outside frame rail at this location then yes, the rear brackets can be mounted to the inside of the frame rail. However, Lippert recommends using the outside of the frame rail for increased support.
The installation process is fairly straight forward as the landing gear will mount to the existing holes from your current landing gear setup. You will need to drill into the frame in order to install the rear jacks.
I have included a video review of the Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Electric 5th Wheel RV Leveling System for you.
