Parts Needed to Tow Small Trailer with 2012 Chevy Sonic Hatchback

Hello! I happen to own a 2012 Chevy Sonic LTZ Hatchback with the 1.4L Turbo 6-spd manual transmission. I was wondering if it could be possible to get a Class II Trailer Hitch for this vehicle? Ill be towing a 13 foot Scamp Travel Trailer and the tongue weight is going to be close to 200lbs. The trailer weight will be about 1,600lbs so Im within the Class I limit albeit close. A Class II Trailer Hitch would give me some additional breathing room. Thanks!

We only have Class I hitches available for your vehicle which have the 2,000 lb total capacity and 200 lb tongue weight capacity. If you are sure your trailer is under that weight and your vehicle's owners manual also reflects at least the same capacities you would be good to go with a hitch like the # 24878 that you mentioned.
For trailer wiring you'd then want the part # 118640 which is a confirmed fit as well.
For a ball mount you'd need the part # 3590, and for a ball # 19256.
