Question:
Why is this product not recommended for the elete series gooseneck hitch with reese ball in my 2014 ram 3500
asked by: Tim
Expert Reply:
The Reese Elite Series Gooseneck Hitches have a plastic lever on the top of the hitch ball which is used to install and remove the ball. When using the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter # CAB-C5G with the Reese Elite this plastic lever will be damaged becuase there are bolts inside the adapter that will make contact with the hitch ball.
An adapter that will work with the Reese Elite is the Ranch Hitch Universal 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Coupler Adapter # AM3100.
