Wiring Adapter for 2009 Mercedes-Benz GL-Class Towing Trailer with LED Lights

Question:

I just bought a new travel trailer with only low voltage LED for external lighting. I plugged in the 7 Way into the factory installed tow package but would not provide enough current to power the lights. Can I use the Curt # C57003 as a way for the tralier to draw or The GL provide more current to the trailer? The 7 WAY is working as trailers with Non LED lights work fine. thanks for the response.

Trailers with high-efficiency LED lighting draw so little power that they can fool some vehicle wiring systems into thinking a light bulb is out on the vehicle. Curt 7-Way Trailer Adapter # C57003 is your solution for correcting this issue. It will plug in to the GL and provide a socket for the trailer plug.
