I just purchased a Yakima roof rack setup with the jet stream bars. Will the Thule proride bike holder fit on the Yakima bars? I was told that it will fit but I want to ask an expert.

The Thule ProRide Roof Bike Rack XT # TH598004 referenced in your question will indeed clamp on and be compatible with the Yakima JetStream Crossbars # Y00425 installed on your 2016 Chevrolet Malibu Limited. The ProRide is designed to fit these type of aero-style bars and will work great with this system.
