Today on our 2016 Chevrolet Equinox, we're going to be taking a look at the WeatherTech Cargo Liner in black, part number WT40442. Also available in tan, part number WT41442, and in gray, part number WT42442 and cocoa, part number WT43442. Here's what this WeatherTech cargo liner looks like what's its installed in the rear of the vehicle. As you can see, it give us really good coverage all the way around. It's got a nice lip that goes around, it contours the line of the trunk very well. As it hugs all the way around and it comes up and folds up into the back of the seat to help give extra protection up there. It goes all the way across, and then coming back down the other side puts that same lip that contours nicely all the way tucking into this little corner right here and then along the threshold. It's going to give us really good coverage.
It's gong to make sure that things stay contained on this cargo liner. It's got this back end curled up a little bit, but when it sits in the sun and gets hot, this cargo liner's going to sit down nicely and mold very well to the floor of your trunk. It's got these nice channels that go throughout here in the floor of the cargo liner. Those are going to help to control and contain any spills or debris that may happen back here, so that they can't move around too much and anything that may be sitting back here with that. In case there's a spill such as groceries or luggage or anything like that, it's going to help keep that up off of whatever is spilled. What I like most about this is the nice grippy texture that it's got, and the great coverage that it give you all the way around to help make sure that the trunk of your vehicle is going to stay nice and clean. Because a lot of times that's the part of your vehicle that can get the dirtiest.
In order to clean this cargo liner, you simply remove it from the vehicle. Then you can clean it with soap and water, or you can also pick up the WeatherTech cleaner and protector kit, part number WT8TLC36K, and then air or towel dry it. Once it's dry, you can reinstall it into the vehicle. That's going to complete our look at the WeatherTech Cargo Liner in black, part number WT40442 on our 2016 Chevrolet Equinox.
