Can Brake Controller be Used as Supplemental Braking for a Vehicle Being Flat Towed

Question:
when towing a 2014 Jeep wrangler from my 2017 Ace motorhome, can I use a simple break controller? I have a blue ox tow bar and no supplemental breaks at the moment. help appreciated

Trailer brake controllers cannot work as supplemental braking to apply the brakes of a vehicle being flat towed. You'll have to go with an actual supplemental braking unit.
The easiest system to set up and use is the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR, that applies the vehicle brakes in proportion to how much the tow vehicle is braking. This is the safest way to stop and it reduces wear and tear on both vehicles.
