Brake Shoe Solution for 2014 Jayco Trailer with 10 inch by 1-1/2 inch Brake Assemblies

Question:

Hello, Im looking for brake shoes or the entire assembly for my 2014 Jayco 3000 lb trailer electric. The shoes are 10x1.5 inches. I think I found the shoes BP04-065 but not an entire assembly. Is this my only option?

If the brake assemblies you have are made by Dexter then the brake shoes part # BP04-065 that you referenced would be correct since they are 10 inch by 1-1/2 inch wide.

If you have a different brand let me know, but I don't believe we'd have a solution then.

The reason that 10 x 1-1/2 inch brakes are hard to find is because the axles associated with the Dexter 10 x 1-1/2 inch brakes normally had the brakes welded onto the 2.8k axle. This means the assembly cannot be replaced and you can only get replacement parts for the brakes. The shoes, # BP04-065, are a fit for Dexter 10 x 1-1/2 inch brakes.
