Flat towing a vehicle behind a motorhome does require the tow bar, base plates and braking system you referenced, but additional items are also needed. Starting with base plates, I suggest the Blue Ox kit you mentioned, part # BX1126, which fits models with standard factory bumper and no winches or grille guards. An install video is linked for you. Their Alpha tow bar # BX7380 is an excellent choice, as is the fully-portable and wireless Patriot braking system # BLU37TR. You'll also need 12V outlet kit # RM-9332.

For a wiring/lighting solution I suggest you go easy and inexpensive by using a magnetic kit # TL21RK. You do not have to cut into your new vehicle's wiring and installation and removal takes only seconds. For easier hookup use a wiring umbilical # BX8861; this kit provides sockets for both MH and toad as well as a coiled cable.
