How to Add Grease to Hub that Uses Bearing Buddies

Question:

I purchase bearing buddy from you and would like to know how much grease or how do I know when its done filling if you will? How much grease needs to go into the fitting? I know how to apply but not sure how much is enough.

Using a Bearing Buddy to grease a hub can easily allow you to over fill the hub and blow out a seal.

The zerk fitting where you insert the grease is sitting on a spring loaded disc or piston that will move outward away from the hub as grease is added. Push on the edge of the piston with your finger. If the disc doesn't move, add grease until the piston moves.

If you can turn the wheel by hand while you are doing this it will help distribute the grease in the hub as well.
