Trailer Hitch Recommendation for 2016 Toyota Highlander that Allows Full Size Spare

Question:

Im trying to understand if a full size spare will fit with the etrailer hitch e98844 installed on my 2016 Highlander Hybrid. I saw one person asked and was told only the temporary spare would fit but another person asked same question and was told the full size spare will fit. I am confused!

We do have a trailer hitch that is a fit for your 2016 Toyota Highlander Hybrid that is compatible with the full-sized spare. The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Matte Black Finish - Class III - 2" # e98844 will work great with your hybrid and will allow you to keep your full sized spare as long as it is not on an aluminum rim. The aluminum rims are too wide.
