Question:
I have the tow package installed on my Lexus 2013 RX450h. It has a 4 pole adapter. I recently got another trailer and would like to add a 7 blade electrical connector in parallel with the 4 pole adapter so that I can use the brakes on the new trailer. Where can I find the parts and the instructions to do this? Thanks.

You can convert your Lexus' 4-pole wiring to a 7-way format to allow using a trailer with brakes by installing our # ETBC7 kit. This kit has all wiring and parts needed, including a combination 4-pole and 7-way connector, that lets you tow both 7-way trailers with and 4-pole trailers without brakes. A brake controller like the excellent Curt Echo # C51180 is required to operate the trailer brakes. So long as you have a working 4-pole setup now all you need is the controller itself and the installation kit.
I linked for you both an article and video covering the installation of the # ETBC7 kit and also one for the Curt Echo.
