Question:

Hi Guys! I just installed my thule rapid aero bars and 450R foot pack on my 17 cherokee. I have a hitch to tie to stern to, i do not have front tow hooks to install the bow to. I did purchase a set of the Thule Hood Loop Strap 529. I am uncertain on where to attach these to safely under the hood, there are not a lt of options. Thank you!

You will want to install the Hood Loops for Thule Bow/Stern Tie-Downs # TH529 by either using existing hardware under the hood (taking out a bolt and re-installing it with the loop) or by drilling out your own hole and using hardware acquired at your local hardware store.

If you do not want to drill into anything under your hood and you do not feel comfortable taking out existing hardware and using that, then I have another solution. You can use the Malone QuickLash T-Style Hood Loops for Bow and Stern Tie-Downs # MPG308. You simply shut the hood over the loop-no drilling is required!
