Question:
I saw a post that Rachel commented on regarding the Curt D210. Just wondering if there is an alternative that does not have the ball ? I tow with a Ford Flex and the receiver already sits pretty low to the ground, using that hitch with the ball might a problem. Thanks!

I linked our main page for all hitch adapters/extenders that fit into a 2-inch hitch like the one on your Ford Flex. These include plain single extenders like # BX88265, dual receiver extenders like # MPG544 and the combination receiver/ball mount # D210 that you referenced.
If you can tell me what your specific application is I will be glad to help you find the best option.
Please note that almost all hitch extenders/adapters will cause you to lose half of your hitch's rated capacity. This happens because these items move the actual load further from the hitch tube and this greater distance translates into more leverage applied on the hitch tube; hence the reduced capacity.
