Compatibility of the Demco Hydraulic Brake Line Kit on Disc and Drum Brakes

Question:
The description says this is for drum brakes. But there is also a check mark for disc brakes. Can you confirm this kit is acceptable for a tandem trailer with leaf springs and disc brakes?

Expert Reply:
The Demco Hydraulic Brake Like Kit, # DM5403, can actually be used for both drum and disc trailer brakes.
The kit includes the flex hoses that are used to connect the surge metal brake lines to the trailer's brake calipers. The hoses will flex to allow for the movement that brake calipers will do when they are activated and guarantee that there will be no leaks between the metal lines and the calipers.
