Question:
I have a new 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad cab 6.5 foot box and I want to pull a 5th Wheel trailer. What is the best way to increase payload? I’m looking at Heavy Duty Rear Springs #TTC-1210 and or the Timbren Rear System # TDR1500DQ. My questions to you is which one do you recommend I use. Thanks

The maximum payload capacity of your 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 is determined by factory and cannot be increased. However, with the aid of suspension enhancements you can dramatically improve your vechiles stability, steering, and wear life. Choosing the proper replacement/addition to your vehicle will depend on the features you wish to improve or add.
I recommend using the SuperCoils Suspension Coils by SuperSprings. The heavy duty springs such as the SuperCoils Custom Suspension Coils part # SSC-51 are a great addition to your vehicles stock suspension. The Super Coil Springs are made specifically for the Dodge Ram designed to reduce sag while towing in addition to decreasing the wear of other rear suspension components. Note, this product will raise the rear of your vehicle 2" from the factory position.
The last option you mentioned is our Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System part # TDR1500DQ. These bump stops are designed to replace the factory stops on you vehicle while providing you with increased handling and safety. Additionally, the bump stops will not be engaged with your rear axle until under load thus not providing the round the clock enhancements of the coil springs.
I have attached a few additional supporting documents for your review.
