Availability of a Trunk Mounted Bike Rack to Fit a 2017 Acura MDX

Question:

I just purchased a 2017 Acura MDX and was planning on carrying bikes. Do you offer a trunk mount bike rack that would work with a 2017 MDX without a towing hitch?

We carry several trunk mounted bike racks that will work well on your 2017 Acura MDX.

We offer 1,2, and 3 bike trunk mounted racks. I recommend going with a 3 bike rack like the Yakima FullBack 3 Bike Rack, # Y02633. Using a 3 bike rack will allow you the extra carrying capacity if you by chance need to carry an extra bike. Also the FullBack has a 90 lbs weight capacity when carrying 3 bikes.

What I like the best about the YakimaFullBack bike rack is, unlike most trunk mounted racks, this rack needs only 4 mounting straps to secure the rack to the vehicle. Using only 4 straps over the typical 6 straps means there are less contact to your vehicle's painted surface. The 4 strap system will be just as secure than the 6 straps when it comes to mounting the rack to your Jeep.
