Correct Fit For Dexter Axle E-Z Flex Rubber Suspension System On 2014 KZ Durango 336RE

Updated 05/09/2017 | Published 05/08/2017

Question:

I have a 2014 KZ Durango model 336RE 5th wheel, with three slideouts. Id like to upgrade the suspension with one of your Dexter Axle Trailer Suspension - K71-653-00 kits, or similar. Ive measured the axle distance at 34 1/4 inches, so Im not sure whether to order the kit for 33 inch or 35 inch spacing. Can you verify which part number is correct for my trailer? Thanks!

For the 34-1/4 inch axle spacing on your 2014 KZ Durango I recommend you measure just the metal equalizer between the springs from outside holes center to center. If you get a measurement of 7-1/4 to 8-1/4 inches, then I recommend the E-Z Flex Heavy Duty Rubber Suspension System by Dexter Axle - 7-3/4" Equalizers # K71-653-00. If you get a measurement of 5-1/4 to 6-1/4 inches, I recommend the E-Z Flex # K71-652-00. This E-Z Flex suspension system is a really nice option to absorb road shock and allow you a quieter and smoother ride.

If your measurements are in between the 6-1/4 and 7-1/4 we need to look at a different system that allows for different shackle strap lengths.
