Published 05/04/2017 >
Question:
Hello,I have a Curt 4 bike carrier.Cant decide on a hitch. C12234 class2 with 4 bolt mounting or 24812 Draw Tite class1 6 bolt mounting, with the same ratings.200/2000.Does it make a difference with the same ratings?.I read the C12234 hits the muffler.I like the fact that the 24812 DT. has 6 bolts instead of 4.Please get back to me so I can place an order.

Since only Class II and up trailer hitches can carry 4 bike racks the hitch you would want is the Curt hitch part # C12234 which is a confirmed fit for your 2007 Pontiac Vibe. The other hitches you mentioned are Class I which can only carry up to 2 bikes on a bike rack.
