Availability of Drop Weight Distribution Shanks for Blue Ox Sway Pro

Question:
I have a 2013 Ford F150 Platinum 4x4 with towing package. The F150 does not have any additional lift to the stock height of the truck. I will be towing a 2016 Outback 220URB. I removed the Blue Ox SwayPro weight distribution hitch from a previous truck to put on the F150. My current shank is a 9 inch long 7 hole SwayPro. Will I be able to tow the trailer level with this shank or will I need to replace it with the 9 hole or 11 hole shank? Also, would I need to look at a longer shank? Thank you.

It's hard to say if you'll need more drop than what the shank you have provides. Is the newer truck taller? If the truck sits at the same height you would be fine without needing additional drop.
I attached a help article that details how to determine the amount of rise/drop you would need as well, but basically if the new truck is right at 2-1/2 inches taller then the 9 hole shank part # BXW4002 would be what you would need if your current shank was maxed out.
I can't see any reason you'd need the shank to be longer horizontally.
