For your 2012 FIAT 500C Pop, I recommend the Roadmaster EZ2 Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # 522013-1A which is a confirmed fit. The brackets on this baseplate system are easy to install and remove with a simple twist to lock or unlock them. I recommend mountiing these baseplates using Loctite Threadlocker # LT37420.
For a tow bar, I recommend the Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar - Motor Home Mount - 2" Hitch - 6,000 lbs # RM-520 which will fit with these baseplates and your vehicle. I recommend using a hitch lock like # e98882 for this tow bar to keep it secure. You will also need safety cables and I recommend the RoadMaster 68" Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables - 6,000 lbs # RM-643.
For your tow bar wiring, I recommend the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267. This will give you a nice connecting cable between your vehicles and give you a clean trailer connector on the front of your FIAT. This will then use your factory wiring for your stop lights and turn signals.
For your braking system, I recommend the SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System - Proportional # SM99251. This is our installation team's favorite because it is easy to install and only needs to be adjusted at that time, so it becomes a very reliable plug and play unit. This will require the Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit - Fiat # RM-751455 for proper function.
The final thing you need for a complete system is a high-low adapter. I've attached an article to assist as well as linked the page to your options.
