How do I know which wire is the hot wire? Both are black.

The motor you sent in a picture of is very similar to the # BCD0314-00 but it is slightly different than the part # BCD0314-00 when comparing the two. It appears as this motor will work just fine as a replacement though. Basically either wire can be used as a power wire since the motor can change directions based on which wire has power and ground.
What you will want to do is match the power wire of your current setup with the same post as the # BCD0314-00 and it should turn the correct direction. Otherwise it would be a matter of reversing the connections.
