RV Water Filter and Regulator

Question:
There has been much discussion, but no satisfactory answer. Since campgrounds can have particle laden water at 120 psi, do you protect the pressure regulator with a filter or do you protect the filter with a pressure regulator? Do you have a water filter rated to at least 120 psi?

Helpful Expert Reply:
Our water filters like # CAM40631 need to be used after the water goes through a regulator and is reduced to 60 psi or less.
For a water regulator you can use # A01-1122VP which will keep the pressure at 50 to 55 psi.
