I am interested in the Canyon XT cargo basket for mounting on a 2016 Subaru Outback with the factory rack. Looking to haul North Face Base Camp duffel bags and heavy duty trash bags full of bedding and clothes - moving my daughter out from her college room. What cargo net should I use. I already have Thule load straps. Do I need anything else?

The Thule Cargo Net part # TH692 would fit on the Thule Canyon XT Cargo Basket part # TH859XT-8591XT that you are interested in and would work well. Using this with straps like you already have would be ideal for carrying cargo on the basket.
