Troubleshooting LF Error On Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Auto Leveling System
Published 04/21/2017 >
Question:
As soon as I turn it on it beeps and flashes IF Jack error. If I switch to manual mode it will only move both front jacks about 1/4 inch at a time. And will not auto level. What can this be and how soon fix. This camper is a 2016 and my dealer is no help to me what so ever and is about hour away. Anyway I can trouble shoot this my self and fix or does it need to go back to dealer for them to fix.

The Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Electric 5th Wheel RV Leveling System w/ Touchpad and Remote - 20,000 lbs # LC358590 instructions say that the LF error tells you the issue is with that left front leg of the landing gear. It is a signal issue with a high amp current stall. They recommend checking harness connections at controller and jack. Checking the harness itself for damage, and repairing or replacing as necessary.
If that doesn't solve your issue, I recommend resetting the system. The instructions can walk you through that process.
