Will etrailer EZ Lube Hub AKHD-655-6-EZ-K Fit an AL/KO Axle Rated for 4400 Pounds

Question:

The components on this is the same as what I currently have on my Al-ko T52 2 axle but the plate on the axle states it is 4400 lbs. I have 12 X 2, 6 lug, 5.5 with an inner bearing 25580 and an outer bearing 15245 and a grease seal for 2 1/4inch shaft. It has an easy lube axle.

We have a hub and drum for 4400 pound axles but it uses bearings that are not compatible with the spindles on your trailer axle. You would need to go with a hub and drum that has bearings that are compatible even if that assembly is rated higher than the axle (you would still be limited to the axle capacity).

The 15245 is a race number. The bearing associated with that race is 15123. So you can use hub and drum assembly # AKHD-655-6-EZ-K. This assembly is compatible with 15 to 18-1/2 inch wheels.
