We offer several 2-inch Class III hitches for the 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class that you can see by clicking on the linked page. All fits the GLE-Class without the Active Curve System.
Curt hitch # C13294 will be slightly less visible than the other options due to its concealed cross tube, and it costs less, but the installation will be a bit more involved. Also, this hitch's warranty requires you to use a support strap for non-trailer loads like bike racks. Curt offers such a strap # 18050 but some customers don't want to have to deal with it so they will choose one of the Draw-Tite options.
