Question:

I have a 2007 Forest River Wildwood 5th wheel toy hauler. Im tall but my wife isnt. Our fold out stairs are only two steps. Id like a 3 step. The mounting base width is 26. I havent found one with the proper dimensions. Help.

For 3 step fold out stairs, we don't have the exact base width you are looking for but we do have options that will work just requiring different mounting holes. Here are your options:

Flexco Manual Pull-Out Steps for RVs - Triple - 9" Drop/Rise - 24" Wide - 350 lbs # SMFP-3200L. The mounting base dimensions are 27-1/8" wide x 9-3/4" deep with bolt hole pattern of 25-3/8" Wide x 5-1/2" deep (from first to second bolt hole) and 25-3/8" Wide x 7" deep (from first to third bolt hole).

Either of these steps will work well for you as long as the measurements work for support on your Toy Hauler. The outriggers like # LC301704 gives you a method confirmed to fit either model as well.
