Hello! What is the seal dimension of part # EX1140? In other words, how large a gap will the seal deal with?

I went out to the warehouse to measure Extang MaxSeal Tailgate Seal # EX1140. Overall it is 1 inch tall and 3/8 inches thick at the thickest point and it is 10 feet long. It is a universal, one size fits all type of product.
